Transform Yourself, Transform Your Life

March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb, so it marks the perfect time for a blog about transformation! While many people are stressed from the tensions of an ongoing pandemic, others seem magically unruffled by whatever life throws at them. How do they keep their composure in the face of homeschooling and never-ending meal prep? Meditation. Taking just a few minutes each day to center into calm and stillness makes a tremendous difference. It’s one of my secrets for taking the (k)nots out of real estate.

Transcendental Meditation has been in my Felix the Cat bag of tricks since my youthful San Francisco years. It keeps me centered, focused, at peace – and I’ve got to tell you, it keeps my skin looking terrific! You don’t have to be a zen-filled sage in order to do Transcendental Meditation. Basically, if you’re alive and breathing, you meet the requirements.

Transcendental Meditation is effective and incredibly easy to do. According to TM.org, “The TM technique uses the natural tendency of the mind to automatically draw your attention inward, through quieter and quieter levels of thought, until you experience your own innermost nature — the most peaceful and silent level of your mind.”

It’s not a philosophy, there’s no special diet or lifestyle, in fact, you don’t even have to believe in it and it will still be just as effective in bringing you profound benefits. All you need is twenty minutes a day to dedicate to inner calm and deep peace. There is a part of your mind that is already calm and peaceful, but most of us never bother to go deep enough into our minds to find it. With Transcendental Meditation, you learn to direct your attention inward and in order to learn to do this properly, you need a teacher.

I know you’re ready to start searching YouTube, but trust me on this one. To get the kind of personalized feedback and direction you need to access those deep levels of creativity and joy, you need a certified instructor. It’s taught over four consecutive days for about an hour to an hour and a half a day. It’s a small price to pay for a lifetime of benefits.

If you need more peace, more health, and more clarity of mind, Transcendental Meditation Palm Springs is ready to teach you the secrets of health, happiness, and inner calm. Transcendental Meditation also helps with addiction, PTSD, insomnia, emotional stability and so much more. Call (760) 537-1006 or email palmsprings@tm.org to learn more from certified teacher Dennis Rowe. Serenity awaits you.

We are incredibly fortunate to have Transcendental Meditation Palm Springs in the Coachella Valley. I value this resource so highly I make a monthly donation to Transcendental Meditation Palm Springs. If, like me, you want to inspire peace in the Coachella Valley, send a donation to 2150 E Tahquitz Canyon Way #4, Palm Springs, CA 92262 to help keep the doors of this magnificent resource open during these fiscally turbulent times. Even the most peaceful and beneficial places need a little help from their friends now and again to get over the rough spots.

And if your home or office is blocking your zen mojo, let me find you a property that brings peace and makes every day a spa day. I’m Stephen Burchard, The Desert Bowtie Realtor, taking the (k)nots out of real estate.
